Lakeside Aquarium & Steam Railway
In the village of Lakeside at the south
end of Lake Windermere, near Newby Bridge is the end station of the rail link
with Haverthwaite. At this location which provides ample parking while on a Lake
Cruise or Steam Train Ride is an Freshwater Aquarium of underwater life.

Brentwood - John Ruskin's Home
The House on the lake side is open all
year to view with Ruskin's paintings and personal effects along with the gardens
and Estate available for woodland walks.
The Gondola the Victorian Steam Yacht
which cruises the lake calls at Brentwood during the summer, originating from
Coniston where their is a New Museum to Ruskin. A combined entry to all
